CryEngine Character Animation Rigs

This is a small showcase showing two character animation rigs created for use with assets from the game Star Citizen in CryEngine. Two rigs are shown; a human and a Vanduul with the human rig built directly upon an extracted animation skeleton. The Vanduul skeleton is completely rebuilt. The animation rig uses inverse kinematics for both the hands and legs. The Vanduul rig also features basic facial controls since it is the main production rig for all Vanduul animations while the human animations have body and facial motions created separately. These are later combined in the CryEngine trackview. A similar human Ik rig exists for use in motionbuilder to re-target motion capture data.
