Anvil Aerospace - Arrow

The final trailer uploaded to the Star Citizen YouTube channel.

The first time we see the Arrow. The shot mimics the movement from a similar shot in the original trailer for the Anvil Hornet a few years before. With a slightly more explosive twist.

A detached PoV shot of the pilot entering the manoeuvre to sneak behind the remaining Cutlass. This was the first time I personally worked on character animations in Maya at CIG.

The underbelly of the Arrow as it rapidly slows itself down before boosting off to take on the remaining Cutlass. This was my favourite shot of the piece. Where the tables turn.

Anvil Aerospace - Arrow

Created for the 2018 Anniversary Promotion.

The Arrow trailer is one of my favourites to have worked on due to the fun and nimble dogfight animations I was able to create to bring the Arrow to life.

In this project I took on all of the shots after the initial opening sequence, from where we first see the ship. There was lots of animation work involved in this as well as some VFX work using existing assets as a base and I was also able to show a preview of, at the time, upcoming gas cloud tech to create the dense asteroid field environment.

This project was also the first time I worked with custom character animation in Maya for our trailers which can be seen in one of the cockpit shots.
